Learning Math for School Kids is an independent site helping secondary students understand grade-level math. This page explains who we are and how our lessons are made.
Our story
The site started as a set of handouts for students who missed a lesson or needed it explained a second way. Teaching the same topics year after year, our founder built up clear, grade-by-grade explanations — and putting them online meant any student could reach them, not just the ones in the room.
Our mission
Our mission is to help students in grades 7 to 12 keep up and catch up, by explaining each grade’s math clearly and in the order it’s actually taught.
Editorial standards
- Grade-accurate. Topics match what students are expected to learn.
- Clear. We explain in plain language, with worked examples.
- Accurate. Every method is checked before publishing.
How our content is reviewed
Each lesson is checked for mathematical accuracy and clarity, shaped by real classroom experience, and updated when curricula change or readers point out a slip. Found an error? Tell us.
Who writes our lessons
Lessons are written by Ahmed Suleiman, a high-school math teacher. Read his full bio.
